Shikakle

Daily Shikaku: carve rectangles so each number matches its area.

What is Shikakle?

Daily Shikaku: carve rectangles so each number matches its area. A shared daily Shikaku board. Divide the grid into rectangles so each rectangle holds one number, and that number equals its area. Each date posts Mini (6×6), Challenge (15×15), and Expert sizes, with an archive of earlier days. Drag from one corner to the opposite to draw a box; tap a box to clear it. No account is required. It belongs to the wider family of DLE games: compact browser puzzles that give players a repeatable challenge and a reason to return the next day.

How to play Shikakle

  1. Open the day’s Mini, Challenge, or Expert board. Everyone gets the same dated set.
  2. Drag from one corner to the opposite to draw a rectangle that covers exactly one number.
  3. That number must equal the rectangle’s area. Clear a box with a tap if you need to redraw.

Why it is worth trying

Shikakle works well as a daily habit because a round usually takes 3-15 min. The rules are understandable in one session, but better pattern recognition can still improve future attempts.

Players who enjoy logic, shikaku, daily will find the closest fit here. The shared daily format also makes it easy to compare results with friends without requiring a long multiplayer session.
