What is Lagdle?
Seven guesses. Each color clue arrives one turn late. A shared daily five-letter word from FiveLetterWords with delayed clues. Seven turns. A valid guess locks in and its colors stay in transit until the next valid guess commits. Practice sits beside Daily and does not affect daily stats. One optional letter hint costs a turn. Stats stay in the browser; optional sync is available. It belongs to the wider family of DLE games: compact browser puzzles that give players a repeatable challenge and a reason to return the next day.
How to play Lagdle
- Open Daily. Everybody gets the same Lagdle word that day.
- Commit a valid five-letter guess. Its clue stays in transit until the next valid guess locks.
- You have seven turns. Practice does not change Daily statistics.
Why it is worth trying
Lagdle works well as a daily habit because a round usually takes 4-8 min. The rules are understandable in one session, but better pattern recognition can still improve future attempts.
Players who enjoy word, wordle-like, daily will find the closest fit here. The shared daily format also makes it easy to compare results with friends without requiring a long multiplayer session.
Lagdle FAQ
Is Lagdle a daily game?
Yes. Daily is one shared numbered puzzle. Practice is separate.
Do I need an account?
No. Stats stay in the browser. Optional sync can copy daily results across devices.
Why seven guesses instead of six?
Because each clue arrives one turn late, so the board gives one extra row to finish after the delay.
