Chainle

Five shared rounds. One guess links the clue words, scored by closeness.

What is Chainle?

Five shared rounds. One guess links the clue words, scored by closeness. A shared daily word chain of five rounds and one guess each. Most rounds ask for a word that belongs with two clues at once; one round uses three clues, and one asks for the nearest word to a single clue. There is no single listed answer. A guess is scored by how close it sits to every clue together, up to 1000 points a round. Unlimited play and an archive sit beside the daily. It belongs to the wider family of DLE games: compact browser puzzles that give players a repeatable challenge and a reason to return the next day.

How to play Chainle

  1. Open today’s five-round puzzle. Everyone gets the same clues.
  2. Type one word that connects the clues for that round.
  3. A closer fit to every clue scores more. Unlimited play does not replace the daily.

Why it is worth trying

Chainle works well as a daily habit because a round usually takes 3-6 min. The rules are understandable in one session, but better pattern recognition can still improve future attempts.

Players who enjoy word, connections, daily will find the closest fit here. The shared daily format also makes it easy to compare results with friends without requiring a long multiplayer session.
